With colour challenges, it is generally accepted that you can also use neutrals alongside it. Thankfully, Night of Navy is now considered a neutral in the Stampin' Up! range of products and worked in beautifully next to the light Seaside Spray blue. I just needed that little bit of "oomph" and contrast.
Seaside Spray and Silver Glitter had me thinking snowflakes, even though we have a summer Christmas here in the South Pacific. The Colorful Seasons stamp set is a great universal set to own, with snowflakes, autumn leaves, spring blossoms and summer deckchairs. Every season is taken care of! I die cut the word "Christmas", using the Word Wishes Dies, from Silver Glimmer Paper and three more from Seaside Spray card before stacking them all together to create my dimensional greeting.
I heat embossed all my snowflakes in White embossing powder and then sponged Seaside Spray and Night of Navy ink over the top for a resist look on my card front. I finished the card by splattering Frost White Shimmer Paint and adhering a few Seaside Spray sequins from the Woven Threads range.
