Good Friday evening to you all!! It's TGIFC time and I really hope you will join us for this lovely sketch challenge this week! Just click on the #tgifc229 banner below to go to the TGIFC website and upload you own take on the sketch and see what goodness the Design team have for you too!
One of my very good friends is about to become a Granma to a beautiful wee girl very, very soon and I hadn't found time to make a card to welcome the sweet new arrival, so this ended up the perfect challenge. I love it when I can kill two birds with one stone!
I reached for the Little Elephant stamp set to create this card, it's perfect for new babies, and kept my colours to a minimum with just Gray Granite and Petal Pink. While this set is so stinkin cute, I have hardly used it. It felt so good to get it all inky again.
The wee babe is a girl and I wanted a really soft and feminine feel to my project. The Tufted 3D embossing folder looks like a down filled mattress and I just want to snuggle up on it! What young lady doesn't like pearls? There are 40 pearls on this one card (you just counted them, didn't you?!) and I coloured each with the Dark Petal Pink Blends marker to match my card base.
I love the cute factor on this card and can't wait to give it to the new parents when baby arrives.
You can recreate this card too with the supplies listed below. Simply click on any picture to shop with me!
