Welcome to a brand new month with the Creating Kindness Design Team.  This month we are exploring our Ink Refills and the different things you can do with them.  We are also being joined by my lovely friend Tami Hewlett from the US as our guest designer!  I am excited to see what Tami has for us!

I was desperate to play with new product from the Holiday Catalogue that went live yesterday for my project and I settled on the gorgeous Christmas Gleaming stamp set, which I heat embossed in white on Shimmery White Card.   I thoroughly wet my card front before dripping Granny Apple Green reinker all over it.  I used an Aqua painter to move the colour around and a paper towel to sop up some of the colour as well.  I then dripped Pretty Peacock reinker in a few places as well, but not nearly as much, since it is a really dark colour.  I spritzed more water in places to move the colour and left some really dark areas where the card was drier.

I left my card to dry naturally, but you could use a gentle setting on your heat tool to speed it along.  I then buffed over the white embossed images with a paper towel to brighten them.  I kept my sentiment small intentionally.  I didn't want to lose any of that gorgeous background!  A little bit of Silver Foil, Thread and a few Rhinestones completed my not quite traditional Christmas card.  Do you like these colours or are you more of a traditionalist at Christmas time?

Next up on the hop is my very talented friend, Lou Kitzelman in Australia.  I know she will have a fabulous idea for ink refills for us all!
