WHO NEEDS SNOW! - FANCY FRIDAY BLOG HOP

Welcome to November's Fancy Friday blog hop.  If this is your first visit to our hop, welcome!  We are a group of past and present Stampin' Up! Artisans who love to craft together and bring you inspiration on the last Friday of every month.

So what Christmas cards are you making to send this year?  In the South Pacific, it is summer, so it only makes sense that my Santa is going to be wearing board shorts and not a hot, sweaty, Santa suit!  And that sentiment - perfect!   I have used Stampin' Blends markers to colour my image.  I love how easy they are to use and blend, making anyone feel like an artist!  Notice his board?  Candy Cane coloured!

MAKING CHRISTMAS BRIGHT - STAMP TO SHARE BLOG HOP

Welcome back to the Stamp to Share Blog Hop.  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who love to come together to create awesome projects with the fabulous bundles of product featured in our current catalogues, and inspire you to do the same!  Please also help me welcome back to the team, Sandi MacIver!

This month we are featuring the fun Making Christmas Bright Bundle!  I have seen so many wonderful multi coloured projects with this bundle that I really had a heard time coming up with something just that little bit different.

I decided to string my lights along a garland, which meant a looooong card!  The garland itself was stamped using the beautiful Winter Woods stamp set.

I also wanted to add some dimension to the solid light bulb. I did this by adding shade with a dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends marker and highlights with the White Stampin' Chalk Marker.  Love how they turned out and I really like being able to stretch my stamps any way I can.  Maybe it is something you can try too!

It brings me great pleasure to send you on to my lovely friend, Rochelle Blok in Australia, to see what delicious creation she has made for us!
