BEND IT WITH BRUSHO'S - TOTALLY TECHNIQUES BLOG HOP

Welcome to the Totally Techniques team blog hop for February.  This month's technique is Shannean's choice - Brusho's.  It gives us all so much scope to play with, as you can do so much with this amazing product.  A highly pigmented powder, you only need a little (a little goes a loooong way!) plus water to create magic.  Sprinkle it on your project and spritz to activate the different coloured powders, or tap some into a palette, add water and mix to create a more even tone.

For my project today, I was totally inspired by my friend Linda Dalke, in Australia.  Linda used her powders in conjunction with embossing folders, which I just had to try.  She has created a video of how she does this technique, which you can see HERE.  And I love how my very fishy, blokey card turned out!

BELLA & FRIENDS - FANCY FRIDAY BLOG HOP

 

Welcome to the March Fancy Friday blog hop.  We are a group of past and present Stampin' Up! Artisans who love to bring you inspiration each month.  We have been inspired ourselves this month, with a Stampin' Up! project using this fresh colour combination: Pool Party, Night of Navy and Emerald Envy.

A great combination, don't you agree?  A dear friend is having a tough time of things and I wanted to send her a card to let her know I care, even though we live many miles apart.  I adore Bella and Friends, and she has a dog called Bella!  What a coincidence, huh?  I don't think I need to explain this card any further, but just let the cute factor tell the story!

You can't help but smile, right?  So I hope this will bring a smile to my friend's heart too.

CAKE SOIREE - STAMP TO SHARE BLOG HOP

Welcome to the Stamp to Share International Design Team blog hop for February as we feature the Cake Soiree Suit and Bundle!  You may have just joined me from Nadine Koller's blog or are starting the hop with me.  Just be sure to click the "next" button at the end of the post to carry on around the team.

I have two projects to share with you today.  I couldn't just stop at one!  The first is this super pretty, very glittery birthday card.  Can I just say how much I love the Shimmery White embossing paste?  I love that it can be coloured slightly as I have done here.  My birthday cake has been slightly altered also as the original stamp has only two layers to it.  And that gorgeous shimmery ribbon?  It is one part of a three part ribbon pack this Sale-a-bration and can be yours free when you spend $110NZD with me.

This sweet little tag is the perfect way to zhoosh up a little gift.  I adore the filigreed edge of the tag die in this set and made a feature of it by cutting silver foil to lay over the white tag base.
