Our inspiration this month is a mix of two things - products from the new Occasions Catalogue (live on the 2nd of January) and bulk production of cards for sending in 2019. If you are anything like me, I make cards, but somehow never get around to sending them. It could be that I give my cards to family and friends to use, but then have to make my own to send as I need them so I never have many in my own stash ready to go! By making bulk cards in one sitting, I know I will have cards on hand to send when needed.
Being a techniques girl at heart, when I came across an awesome background for Glossy card using Stampin' Blends markers and Isopropyl alcohol on Splitcoast Stampers I knew I had to have a go at it and I LOVE how it turns out different everytime! I adore the open lines of the Humming Along stamp set and it was perfect for just stamping over top of the colours to create my card fronts. No need to colour in! This stamp set also carries a number of different sentiments that cover many occasions. This is going to be a favourite of mine! I have used the lovely Gingham Gala Adhesive-backed Sequins for embellishment (Occasions) and the Highland Heather Organdy ribbon, which is a Sale-A-Bration item. It's great that we can put items from any catalogue together on a project and know they will work! Oh, and you can choose the Organdy Ribbon pack as an SAB freebie when you spend $110NZD or more from any live catalogue!
Next up on the hop is the lovely Elizabeth Price. Everything she makes is a masterpiece in my opinion! Click the next button below to visit her blog!
