FANCY FRIDAY BLOG HOP - TOP 5 CATALGOUE PICKS

Welcome to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop for July.  Thanks for joining me for my first blog hop with these amazing gals.  You have probably just arrived here from the fabulous Cindy Shuster.  She is a pretty hard act to follow! We are a group of past and present Stampin' Up! Artisans who love to bring bring you inspiration each month!  This month it is all about our personal top 5 new catalogue products.  Like, how am I going to narrow THAT down, right?!

I am not even going to try and list them in order of most loved, but here are a few of my favourite things (did you just sing that?  You did, didn't you?)

Pattern Party Decorative Masks - I am a techniques girl, so I was always going to love these new masks!  Great for sponging or daubing over to create fabulous backgrounds on your projects.
Embossing Paste - Add a touch of texture to your projects and while you are there, add colour and mix!  Glitter it up!  So many possibilities!  Oh, did I mention the masks too, lol?
Daisy Delight Bundle - So popular that it practically went into back order on release!!  But it is back in stock now for the US market and little ol' South Pacific should be available again mid July.
Multi Purpose Adhesive Sheets - if you need to add adhesive to delicate die cuts or want to layer them up, this is a must have product.  Fabulous for the inlaid die cut technique too.  Watch my project video HERE featuring my use of these sheets on a project.
Mini Dimensionals - What can I say?  So darn ca-ute but super versatile!  No more cutting regular Dimensionals in half for those fiddly projects!

The project I am sharing today features the Daisy Delight suite of products and it is a scrapbook page!!  I know!  Scrapbooking is not normally my thing.  But my daughter is on her big OE at the moment and this was her last visit home before she headed overseas.  It needed to be recorded.

I have thrown the entire suite at this page - the Designer Paper, the ribbon, the faceted gems, the stamp set AND the punch.  I have also included a hidden journal card and used the daisy as the pull tab.  It normally sits out of sight behind the DSP panel with just the daisy showing.

My page heading was created with the lovely words thinlits which I stacked three layers of card thick, using the Multi Purpose Adhesives sheets to adhere them all together.  Love these sheets as I could die cut with the cardstock at the same time!

Next stop on the hop is the wonderful Jennifer Timko!

COFFEE OR TEA?

Have you noticed the Coffee Cafe suite of products in the new Stampin' Up! 2017 Annual Catalogue?  It was one of the first things that took my fancy when I flipped through the pages for the first time.  I am a self confessed coffee freak!

I decided the papers would look fabulous holding a tea bag.  What?  Wait!  A teabag???  Yup.  As much as I love coffee, I always start the day with a cuppa tea!  Now, I don't know who first created this little holder, I have seen many around, but this is my take on it.  Mine has one side for Coffee and the other for tea!  The best of both worlds for me.

I love the fun designs on the Coffee Cafe Designer Paper, but chose one that didn't espressly (see what I did there??) work just for the coffee element of this project.  Using the same colours from the DSP in my stamping made colour coordination so easy!  The whole suite works so perfectly together! You can see how I made these right here:

BERRY BURST LOVELY AS CAN BE!

I am not a "pink" lover overly much, unlike another demo friend of mine who shall remain nameless - you know who you are!  But I must say I am feeling just a little smitten with the new Berry Burst In Colour.  Perhaps it is the depth of colour that I like so much?

It certainly provides a "happy" feeling to the card I recently sent out to all my Online customers!  They make me happy and I want to share that with them!  Lovely Inside & Out is such a fun stamp set and had the perfect mix and match sentiments to say exactly how I feel.

I have actually made a couple of extra to send out as RAK's (Random Act of Kindness) this month as well, to fellow demonstrators!  Wouldn't it make you day to get one in the post unexpectedly?

This is very similar to a card I shared on Instagram not too long ago, which you can see HERE.  Follow me on Instagram too as I don't always share everything here on the blog.  Why miss a thing?
