BLUE + YELLOW = GREEN #GDP005

Welcome back to another Global Design Project colour challenge.  This week, we bring you Daffodil Delight, Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz.  Quite a combination don't you think?  To help things a little, you can use neutrals as well, such as Black, White and Kraft.

I went a little left of center and only used Daffodil Delight and Soft Sky.  I sponged Soft Sky on to my card base using one of the Happy Patterns Masks.  Once I had done that, I moved it so the diamond shapes didn't line up and sponged again in Daffodil Delight.  Where the two colours overlap is my Pear Pizzazz!  It certainly plays tricks with your eyes too, blahahahaha!!

I masked off a strip on the inside of my card and repeated the sponging process, then stamped my sentiment through the middle.  I also made a matching gift box using the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits, to create a complete gift set!

I can't wait to see what you come up with for this colour challenge at Global Design Project.  The Design Team have been hard at work to inspire you too, so go and leave them some comment love while you visit!

  4. I love the way you have used the technique to create your 3rd colour. You have inspired me to use the masks. I also love how you have continued the theme into the keepsake. We often see this used in amazing ways so it is good to be reminded that sometimes less is more.
