I recently purchased Stampin' Up!'s Coaster Board.  It is not a product I have ever felt I had a use for, but was I wrong!  I wanted to create a card with lots of layers and that coaster board saved me a lot of time!
I loved this colour combination of Pool Party and Tip Top Taupe and I went for a layered look in my stamping as well, by stamping an image twice without re-inking in between.  This enables you to get a dark and light variation in colour and is how I created my background piece.
Another layer I added was the sentiment, by stamping, cutting out and popping it up on dimensionals.
The last layer was the word "You".  I die cut this from my stamped background.  And then I die cut three words from the coaster board. Wow!  Once I glued them all together, I had a nice thick word which sat well above my card front that I could pop back into my card.  I didn't have to muck around cutting and gluing multiple layers of cardstock!  This technique is called Inlaid Die cuts.  I ran a Tip Top Taupe marker along the edge of the word to give it more definition.
I will always make sure I have a pack of Coaster Board at hand now.  You can find it on page 148 of the Stampin' Up! main catalogue and it's only $10.75 for a pack of 8 6" x 8" sheets. It die cuts beautifully.  I can't wait to explore what else I can do with it!
