Unfortunately time has not been my own lately and I haven't had much time for crafting. I finally got sponge to paper this weekend and came up with this card.
Not a beginners card - thats for sure! It took a lot of post-it-notes to create this scene, but it was certainly worth killing a few trees for. Not to mention, my sponges got a good workout too!
I have only used three colours to create this entire card: Marina Mist, Pool Party and Island Indigo. A few dots of White Gel Pen and Dazzling Diamonds for the sea spray and it was finished.
This is amazing Paula. I love your work and I am constantly in awe of what you create with ink, cardstock and post it notes.
ReplyDeleteWOW! That sure isn't a beginner's card! Love how the wave is crashing over - you've got the motion beautifully. Well done, #8!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOODNESS! Sponging heaven!! I love this card Paula. Absolutely LOVE it. I am going to have to think hard about how you did it though. Any pointers coming this way? Especially interested in how you achieved the beautiful 'spray' effect.
