Have you seen the new Stampin' Up! Mini catalogue yet? No? Then take a look at it HERE. There are so many wonderful new products available to purchase and play with! If you would like to "try before you buy", then why not contact ME and book a date for your workshop!
I am absolutely loving the new Apothecary Art stamp set. It works beautifully together with the new Big Shot framelit dies! The stamps come in a variety of sizes to fit each framelit. Not to mention the Simply Scored tool! That is how I have created the paneling at the bottom of this card. Super quick to use and super easy! Of course, if you love making boxes, then the Simply Scored tool is a MUST for you!
But you really need to see and try these products for yourself. Book your workshop with ME today!

IN LOVE WITH NATURE
It is an absolutely beautiful day here today, and it is only going to get better when I get all inky this afternoon!
I have been playing with the "Nature's Walk"stamp set, which I actually don't own myself, but one of the best things about having a team is sharing things!! Diane lent me this stamp set to play with last weekend, and I really didn't think it would be one I would use a lot. Don't you hate it (NOT!) when your wish list gets that little bit longer!
Every stamp in this set works beautifully together, and with the addition of "French Foliage", you can make gorgeous collage/vintage type cards. Not my normal style of card, but I really enjoyed putting this one together. I have added the gorgeous Always Artichoke denim ribbon and a vintage brad, but otherwise left it fairly free of embellishments.
Of course, I have added sponging round edges and used the Cutter Kit to distress some of the edges on the card stock.
I will be teaching this card in May, so do keep an eye out on my Classes & Events page, once I decide on a date, and be sure to register if you would like to make this gorgeous card!

THANKS A MILLION
Another Birdie/brayer card for you today! I am once again, enjoying the use of my brayer!
This is another card which "just came together". Thank goodness, because I made this for a neighbour who is particularly good with T.V's and satellite dishes! When we moved house, nothing was working and I didn't want to attempt working with spaghetti junction behind the google box! Hence, the powerlines on the front of the card!
David came and spent a few hours getting signals and making sure the feeds to all rooms were working. Thanks so much David for your know how and patience!
Of course, I had to do the inside in the same way and decorate the front of the envelope.
If you would like to learn to create cards like this, then contact me and I can show you how. I hold Brayer/sponging classes at my own home, but I can also come to you when you get a group of friends together. Keep an eye on my "Classes & Events" page for any upcoming classes I will be holding. All enquiries are welcome!

ON A SCALE OF........
I have a real thing for the Aviary birds at the moment! I wanted to make a card that would make you smile when you see it. I had the perfect sentiment in "On a scale of.....", but wanted the scene to be kinda funny too. Hence the brids weighting down a power line!
I really enjoyed making this wee card. Here is what I used to create it:
Stamps: Aviary, Just Believe, Perfect Words (Hostess Set)
Inks: Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette
Card Stock: Elegant Eggplant,Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Accessories: Brayer, Post-it-notes, Grosgrain ribbon, Glue dots and Dimensionals

HAPPY EASTER!!
I would like to wish you all a very Happy Easter. If you are going away, as I have, for a break - safe travels!
My daughter announced that she didn't want any chocolate (I think she must be sick!) this Easter, so I decided to stick with that theme with the card I made for her. Clean and simple ICECREAM - what more could a girl want?!
When she opens the envelope, she will smell it before she sees it! Mmmm, vanilla! How did I do that? One of the gorgeous new products in our Autumn-Winter Mini is smelly, or should I say, Scented embossing powder!! With three flavours available, at least one is sure to appeal to you!! We have Vanilla, Melon and Cherry, and they really do smell divine. They are just $13.25 each and 14g in weight. If you would like to try one yourself, just let me know - I would be happy to order some for you!!

AVIARY SUNSET
I promised a card and here it is!! I finally broke out my brayer after it had languished in it's box since the last fatal attempt!
I love how this turned out so much, that I have also done the inside and created a matching envelope too. I am holding a class here in Upper Hutt on Saturday, 21st April and we will recreate this cute card and envelope. If you would like more information on this class, then please email me for details.
The original inspiration for this card can be found HERE, and although I put my own spin on it, it was too cute to muck around with much! I don't know who the original artist was, but if it was YOU - well done and Thank You!
