BIRTHDAY TIN

Another altered tin for my SIL's Birthday this time.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANNE!  This tin presented a bit of a challenge, in that the colours around the top were orange, blue and green!  What a combination!  It was the very last tin I had  to alter, for that reason.  However, luckily for me, the SAB designer paper, Everyday Enchantment, has those exact colours in it!!

The DSP also worked really well with the montage of stamps I chose to do on this tin.  I finally had an excuse to pull out the crochet trim too, which I pleated. 

I am really pleased with how this rather colour challenged tin actually turned out.  I hope Dianne likes it too.  I have also filled the tin with lots of cards for different occasions, so she has a years supply of handmade cards to go with it!

I am off to Rotorua today to spend a weekend with 50 other SU demonstrators at Stamp Camp.  I have been looking forward to this weekend for quite some time now!  I look forward to bringing you some fab photo's of my weekend away when I get back.

    Like you needed an excuse to use the yummy Everyday Enchantment DSP. It was just a coincidence your tin had some orange on it! Love the project! I'm sure you SIL will too! Have a great time in Rotorua! Enjoy yourself!
