Autumn has arrived, but then, we really didn't have much of a summer! The colours I have used in this card have a definite cool feel to them. Quite appropriate for the way the weather has turned!
I haven't used my Bryaer in a while, so it was time to pull it out again and have another play. My last use of the brayer was a bit of a distaster and you can read all about that HERE. I am happy to say this one turned out beautifully this time!
I keep meaning to photograph the process for you so you can see how I achieved the scene, but I always forget to pull out the camera! I hope to bring you a tutorial soon.
I have also decorated the inside of this card. I always do that on cards I am pleased with! The list of colours and product I have used for this are:
Stamps: Simply Soft, Word Play
Inks: Marina Mist, Pool Party, River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive (marker)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pool Party
Accessories: Post-it-notes (for masking), Brayer, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Dimensionals
I love the brayer effects on ths card - a beautiful scene and definitely worthy of decorating the inside.
ReplyDeleteFabulous, Paula. There's something very New Zealandy about the beach scene; maybe the plants/trees make me reminisce about Pohutukawas. Love it!
ReplyDeleteoh to be sunbathing and enjoying the sun on that beach! lol beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely soft images ... and perfect brayering! Yay for Paula! Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous creation Paula - so peaceful & elegant. I just love how you can create a scene.
