WELCOME HOME

I cant think of a better way to showcase one of the fabulous FREE stamp sets you can get during the Sale-a-bration promotion than by making it into my challenge entry for this weeks Just Add Ink challenge (JAI3).

When I saw the sketch, I immediately thought of a moon and just couldn't get it out of my head!!  The FREE SAB set "Good Neighbours", which I have used, has some pretty solid images that just lend themselves as silhouettes.  I have also left the card monochromatic, except for a hint of Summer Sun in the lighted windows.  I have used my favourite technique, sponging, both on the moon and again on the night sky.  I have added a galaxy of stars with white gel pen.  What do you think?  Thanks for stopping by.................

  1. WOW!! I absolutely LOVE it! I had similar thoughts with a moon, but couldn't get it to work for me. This is such a gorgeous card! I'd love to know what colours you used for sponging. Thanks for playing!

  2. Sorry Danielle, I was in a hurry to publish the post and get back to my card making!! On the W/White moon, I have sponged in Going Gray. On the Basic Gray "sky" I have used both Basic Gray and Basic Black in a gradual build up. :-)
