WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE? - FANCY FRIDAY BLOG HOP

Hi and thanks for joining my Fancy Friends and I for our June blog hop!!  We are a group of past and present Stampin' Up! Artisans who love to craft together and bring you inspiration on the last Friday of very month.

We are showcasing our new favourite catalogue items this month, and it was such a hard choice!  In the end, I had to go with Over the Moon stamp set.  These cows have my heart.  Are they not the cutest?!!  Of course, it could be the colouring in factor that made it my favourite too, ya know!  I have already featured them in one blog post HERE, but I went all out in the colouring department on this card.  The entire card front is coloured with Stampin' Blends.  Just look at how perfectly smooth that sky is.  I am totally impressed with the coverage I achieved.  If you haven't tried these amazing alcohol markers yet, what are you waiting for?!  Just click on the product buttons at the end of this post to purchase yours from my Online Store.

I hope you love these cows as much as I do.  Next up on the hop is the one and only Connie Collins.  I can't wait to see what she chose as her "must have".  I bet I will want it if I haven't already got it as I am her number one fan!

RIBBON RUFFLES - tgifc217

Hello!!  It's time for a new challenge over at TGIFC and we hope you can join in with us this week.  It's all about the ribbon ruffle.  Whether fabric or paper, it doesn't matter, just as long as it is on your project!  Click the #tgifc217 banner below to visit with the rest of the team and upload your own creation!

This has to be the quickest card I have designed in quite some time, keeping it really simple with just this one sweet image from the On to Adventure stamp set.  I coloured the image with Blends before adding some pretty sparkle on her dress and the flower in her hair with Dazzling Diamonds.

I created the ruffle in the ribbon by first adhering a strip Tear N Tape across my card.  I then lay the ribbon over the adhesive, pinching the ribbon in places to crimp it.  I love that the stripes in the ribbon add to the ruffled effect.  I finished off with just a touch of bling using Glitter Enamel Dots.

BIRTHDAY CHEER IN A COLOUR CHALLENGE - #tgifc215

Happy Friday to you all!!  That means we have a new challenge starting over at TGIFC and I hope you will join in by creating and sharing your design with us too!  Just click on the Colour Challenge Banner to head over to the TGIFC website, upload your master piece and visit with my team mates.

This colour combination is a classic in my book and I had plenty of choice for stamp sets now that the 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! catalogue has gone live.  I choose to use one I initially overlooked but have now fallen in love with.

The Parcels & Petals stamp set is a floral set with this awesome background stamp I really wanted to feature on my card base in a tone on tone with Night of Navy ink.  While this gorgeous set is in fact part of a bundle, my Pool Party flowers and Granny Apple Green leaves were actually fussy cut.  Just as well I enjoy that, huh?

A simple layered banner was added to the front of my card over a white twine bow and I carried the stamped background through to the inside of my card but in Pool Party ink this time.
