BLOOM BY BLOOM - CREATING KINDNESS BLOG HOP

I am absolutely delighted that my good friend and fellow demonstrator, Louise Sharp, is joining the Creating Kindness blog hop this month as our guest designer.  I think everything Louise makes is a masterpiece!  Make sure you go visit with her to see for yourself.
This month, we are celebrating birthdays!

I have to be honest and tell you that when I saw the Bloom By Bloom stamp set in the Occasions catalogue, I was totally underwhelmed and I didn't purchase it.......at first.  Well, my opinion has done a complete U turn.  It is a wonderful stamp set filled with solid images that lend themselves to many different techniques.  They also layer up on a single layer card beautifully!  Keeping my card fairly simple with just stamps, ink and paper, I had fun choosing the colours I would use and then deciding the placement of the images.  With the exception of a layered die cut, there are no other embellishments on this card.  Watch my You Tube video below to see the card design in process and please subscribe if you like what you see!

I actually made two of these cards, one with black die cuts and one with white.  Which is your favourite?

Click on the button below to visit with the ever talented Jay Soriano in the UK.  I can't wait to see what he has designed for us.

  7. I love these cards Paula. It is amazing how much dimension there seems to be - even though the stamping is all in one layer. So I guess I now 'need' this bundle! x
