Alisa and I are back with another fun mini blog hop.  We are featuring alternative projects using the beautiful Christmastime is Here suite of products, or in my case, just the stamp and die bundle.

This project is just one of three I have designed for the PDF class Alisa and I collaborated on and released at the beginning of the month.  We wanted to show that this versatile suite can be used for more than just Christmas time!

I am always in need of Thank You cards as I like to include them with every customer order, among other things.  I also don't like anything to go to waste, so this card features a technique to use up all those scraps we inevitably have lying around our craft rooms!

If you would like the instructions for this pretty card, then scroll down a little further to find out how you can get it!  Now to check out Alisa's alternative Christmastime is Here card, which is stunning!  Click on the button below to visit with her.

This PDF offering is FREE with any qualifying online order during November of $40 if you live in New Zealand.  Shop with me HERE and use Hostess code 62V9HXKS for more rewards.  If you live in Australia shop with Alisa HERE.

If you would like to purchase this PDF outright then simply click the Paypal button below to purchase!

Once you check out, select "Return to Merchant" at the end of your confirmation to be taken to the PDF download.  Thank you for you purchase and enjoy!

If you want the supplies to recreate my project, I would be delighted to be your demonstrator.  Click on the pictures below to shop my New Zealand store 24/7!

Are you ready for a cute sketch challenge?  That is just what we have for you this week at #tgifc237.  I love sketch challenges as a place to start and quite often find one to use if I am drawing a blank in the design department.  We would love to see your take on this sketch too, so click on the banner below to join us!

I was drawing a blank as far as stamps were concerned, but then I realised that some of Stampin' Up!'s great Designer Papers already have terrific artwork printed on them so why reinvent the wheel?  I went through my Christmas papers and found this wee beauty in the Night Before Christmas DSP pack.  I love the dimensional look to the trees.

I flipped the sketch on it's side, but otherwise stayed true to it.  I heat embossed the sentiment in white before adhering the DSP to the Night of Navy cardstock.  The simple addition of a Braided Linen Trim bow and "christmas lights" to the trees complete the card.

Sometimes simple is just better, don't you think?  Hunt through your Designer Paper and see if you can feature a design on your next card!

Welcome to the November Creating Kindness blog hop!  Joining us this month is guest designer Sue Plote.  I have had the pleasure of designing with Sue on another DT, so it is great to be hopping with her again.  I love everything Sue creates!

We are having fun with different card folds this month and I have tried my hand at a Double Z Fold for the first time (I think lol).  I am also taking the beautiful Christmastime is Here suite of products for another spin.  I can't stop using it!  You can see some more posts HERE and HERE if you want more ideas!  If you love it as much as I do, then visit my Online Store to grab yours before it runs out of stock and use Host code 62V9HXKS during November for more rewards from me!

To create my card, I used a standard metric cardbase of 29.7cm x 10.5cm and scored at 7.4cm and 14.8cm to create the Poppy Parade base.  The Mossy Meadow card was cut to 26cm x 8.5cm and was scored at 6.5 and 13cm.  All Whisper White and Designer Series Paper mats were cut 5mm less, all the way around and adhere to the two bases before these were adhered together.

I used an Aqua Painter and various inks (listed below) to watercolour the gorgeous Christmas Rose on Shimmery White card before cutting it out with the coordinating die in the suite and finishing with coordinating embellishments.

Next up on the hop is my good friend Lou in Australia.  I am looking forward to seeing what fun fold she has chosen to share with us!
