Welcome to October's Fancy Friday blog hop!  If this is your first visit to our hop, welcome!  We are a group of past and present Stampin' Up! Artisans who love to craft together and bring you inspiration on the last Friday of each month.  Or in this case, a week later!

This month our challenge was to create anything Christmas-y.  Well, I don't think you can get anymore Christmas-y than an Advent Calendar.  How did this came about?  I had an unused frame hanging (get it?) around doing nothing and a ton of Mini Tic Tacs begging to be eaten!  And, to be perfectly honest, I don't think I have ever made one before.  Challenge accepted!

It seemed like a brilliant idea until I had to sit down and make 24 itty bitty boxes.  Thankfully, they came together quite quickly.  I got the idea and template from Omellie's Designs.  The Santas Workshop Memories and More card pack has such a great variety of cards, but also a great assortment of stickers and that is where I got the numbered flags from.  So quick and easy to apply to the front of the mini boxes and yet another reason why you need this pack!

Next up on the hop is my super talented fancy friend, Krista .  I can't wait to see what she has designed this month.  She always manages to wow me!

    Love it´ Paula!

  3. what a fabulous creation, and so festive, LOVE the colours you chose for this project

  4. I love this project. Would you share the instructions for the little boxes. I tried to find it on Omellie’s blog but it is not there. If you have the link that would be fine.

    1. Hi Michelle, just click on Omellie's name in my post and it will take your straight to her tutorial post so you can make them yourself as well! Glad you like the idea :-)

  5. What size frame did you use? This is beautiful.

    1. Kathy, I have given this away now so can't measure it for you as it was one I had just lying around doing nothing. I would suggest making a few little boxes to give you an idea of the frame size you will need. Hope this helps x
