I had so many ideas swirling in my head on how I would love to use this beautiful stamp set and those amazing dies, it was hard to know where to start and I absolutely adore the large fonts in the greetings!! I really couldn't help but create a scene (in a good way lol), it was the first thing I thought of when I got this set!
Christmas in New Zealand is Summertime, so no snow on those gorgeous pine trees on my card! I used a Sponge Brayer to create the graduated colours in my evening sky before die cutting the moon and stars out, then I layered this panel on a mat of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. The sparkle is just gorgeous, but so hard to capture in a photo.
After heat embossing my sentiment in White embossing powder, and while it as still warm, I poured Dazzling Diamonds over the top to make it sparkle too, and then heat set it again. I die cut a heap of trees from Garden Green cardstock and used a sponge dauber to add the same colour ink around the bottom of each tree to add depth before adhering to my card front with Dimensionals.
I brayered the inside of my card exactly the same as my card front. While there isn't a tree stamp in this set, I simply die cut the trees from a Post-it-note and used that as a mask to daub the Garden Green ink through. Job done!
Next stop is my good friend Rochelle Blok in Aussie and you are going to faint when you see what she has for you!!
