Welcome to the Onstage Display Stamper Artisan blog hop where a few of us, who were Display Stampers or Presenters at our local Onstage Stampin' Up! events last weekend, are featuring the samples we made using brand new product that will be in the new 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! catalogue. You have probably just arrived from Martha Inchley's fabulous blog. If you are just starting here, hit the "Next" button at the end of this post to continue on the hop. You won't want to miss a thing!
I had the absolute privilege to do a presentation of the Wood Textures suite of products here at Onstage Auckland. Over the next few days, I will share with you the projects I designed for my presentation. The suite features a gorgeous stamp set, photorealistic designer paper, framelits and a wonderful copper trim.
I have created a feminine woodgrain card for my first project. The Wood Words Stamp Set features a great mix of woodgrain images and sentiments, along with a beautiful spray of flowers, which I have stamped directly on the wood textured DSP, down one side, in Basic Grey ink.
I think the Stitched Shape Framelits were made for this suite as they have a kind of rustic look to them too. I added a torn, scrunched doily behind the stitched oval before adhering it over two new ribbons, Smoky Slate Gingham Ribbon and the Black Mini Sequin Trim. I pulled some of the sequins off the trim and added them as accents all over the card front. It sparkles in the light!
Of course, no card of mine is finished until the inside has been decorated too. I stamped the floral image again in Pool Party ink along the bottom of the card inner before adhering a strip of the same DSP over a few more doily edges. So pretty!
Next up on the hop is Shannon Lane who is sure to "wow" you with her awesome work.
