GO AHEAD AND CELEBRATE GDP#077

Welcome to another Global Design Project colour challenge! We have the wonderful Jerim Dickins with us as our Guest Designer this week, be sure you check out her gorgeous project.  You could be our guest designer for our next colour challenge if you play along with us this week!

I love this colour combination and my free choice was another neutral - Crumb Cake.  Crumb Cake makes a fabulous card base colour but also works brilliantly with the colours already chosen.  I went all geometric with this fabulous stamp set, Happy Celebrations, and I think the overall card would be a great one for the guys in our lives.

I also used the Labeler Alphabet stamp to create my own sentiment.  This is a great set to have when you want to really personalise your project because each letter is seperate. I have seen sentiments cut up on many projects and have really loved the look of that but never tried it myself.  I got to have a play around with that look on this card.  So cool!

So, are you going to be our next Guest Designer?  I certainly hope so.  Upload your project using this week's colour combination into our gallery and it could be you!  Good Luck.

All product used in this project are listed below.  Shop Stampin' Up! Products with me!
If you live New Zealand, I would love to be your Demonstrator. When you shop Online with me, please the current host code (in my side bar) and allow Demonstrator contact, so I can thank you properly with the gift of a card when you place an order.

  1. I like the way you superimposed the triangle stamps! Did you have to do extra coloring where the triangles intersected? Even the Peekaboo Peach triangles were darker at the intersection. Superb!

  2. Hiya Brent, glad you like the card. No I didn't need to do extra colouring at the intersections of the triangles as the ink darkened each time I stamped over top, even on the Peekaboo Peach. great effect, no?!

    1. Yes great effect! The transparency of the colors makes a big difference when transparent objects intersect.
