CRAFTY DAISIES

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for two and half years (time flies) and there are still some products I haven't ticked off my wishlist yet!  While Sale-a-bration (SAB) is on, I took advantage of the FREE product on purchases of $120 (not including shipping) and bought myself the set of Watercolour Pencils.  The only question I have is, WHY did I wait so long to get this amazing product?!!

I have seen a lot of cards recently down on Craft (Crumb Cake) cardstock with other branded pencils and I wondered how the Stampin' Up! pencils would compare.  Well, take a look and tell me what YOU think.  Myself, I LOVE them!!

I simply repeatedly stamped and masked the flower from the Every Moment stamp set in black Staz On.  Then using the Watercolour Pencils, coloured in the images, building colour from lightest to darkest as I went.  I am thrilled with how this has turned out!  This wee beauty is going in my card stash for my MIL's birthday.  Her favourite colours are Green and Yellow.  Perfect.

So, if you still have quite a wishlist going on too, take advantage of SAB.  Get something new, try new techniques, and grab a few FREEBIES while you are at it!  Contact ME for your order today!

This looks fantastic Paula! I had no idea they worked so brilliantly on darker card. It is a really beautiful effect, which is also due (in no small part) to your colouring skills!

Paula I totally adore this card. Haven't used my pencils in ages, so thanks for the inspiration to get them out again.

This is REALLY beautiful, Paula. Love the vibrant colours, and the gorgeous ribbon, that just 'make' this card.

I had to laugh...great minds at work once again. As you posted this up, on my desk in pieces was my attempt of watercolor pencils on Crumb Cake! I have to say, yours is gorgeous! Love the set you used! I'll post mine in a day or two :) However, it pales in comparison.
Hugs to you!
